Covid-19. Mobility Follow-up

Mobility follow-up and contact for student's attention.

Procedures outgoing students 2019-2

In view of the current circumstances caused by Covid-19, the following procedures have been described according to the different situations that spring semester outgoing students can encounter:

There will be certain flexibility to the exceptional and global situation. If the student is following the activity of the host university online and confined, whether in Spain or at the host country, it will be considered as if they were in a mobility stay. They will NOT need to renounce the mobility enrolment. (And if the university reopened, they would continue their mobility) He will need to obtain the results and the transcripts of records, etc. from the host university.

What to do:

  1. Request the host university a certificate of attendancestay with the real start and end dates. 

  2. Request for the stay renouncement, by doing a general request through the seu electrònica de la UPC: https://seuelectronica.upc.edu/ca/tramits/Instanciagenerica

  1. Enrol the courses of spring semester that they agree at their school.

  2. If you decide not to enrol the spring semester at UPC, you will need to do a formal request for the refund of public tuition fees through the UPC electronic office.

  3. Oncampus insurance is NOT TO BE REFUNDED in any case.

  4. If you have been granted a MEC scholarship, you will have to consider that the change in your enrolment may have direct consequences upon the grant you receive. For any doubt in this respect, do a tiquet through DemanaSGA: https://demana.upc.edu

  5. Return, if applicable, the amounts received that do not correspond to you. 

What the student should do


  1. Request to the host university a certificate of attendance with the real start and end dates.

  2. Request the shortening of your stay through the generic instance of the UPC electronic office:

    https://seuelectronica.upc.edu/ca/tramits/Instanciagenerica

  1. Change at the OLS platform the end date of your stay so that the English last test is issued for you to complete.

  2. Complete the end survey. this survey will arrive to you directly from the Mobility tool once you have changed the end date of your stay.

  3. Enrol the spring courses agreed with your school.

  4. If you decide not to enrol the spring semester at UPC, you will need to do a formal request for the refund of public tuition fees through the UPC electronic office.

  5. Oncampus insurance is NOT TO BE REFUNDED in any case.
